I found that FFmpeg is great at converting files from any image format to WAV: ffmpeg.org/
To convert JPG/PNG/BMP etc to WAV:
ffmpeg -i image.jpg -f rawvideo -pix_fmt rgb24 rawdata
ffmpeg -f u8 -ar 44100 -ac 1 -i rawdata output.wav
Here is an automated batch script to ask for the inputs and give a WAV: image_to_wav.bat (502 B) It requires FFmpeg.
ChatGPT 4 was very helpful in doing this.

My Multi-Format to WAV is in ways better because it can modulate to a sine wave. But this is good if you don't want to use frequency.
Try FFmpeg and my Multi-Format to WAV Repeater, and see which sounds better to you.
