There is a Metta or loving kindness meditation.
In it you repeat, after getting into a relaxed meditative state:
May I be happy. May I be healthy. May I be free from inner and outer harm. May I care for myself joyfully. May I love myself dearly.
I've done it for about 30 minutes and already feeling a shift toward joy.

Then focus on someone you care about:
May you be happy. May you be healthy. May you be free from inner and outer harm. May you care for myself joyfully. May you love yourself dearly.
Then repeat for someone who gives you a hard time if it's not too hard.
