I have thought that albeit we still can't manifest things with the Holo-Stones, we could transmute them. I propose this because the Holo-Stones can remove things like injuries, or change the things (work with what already exists). In my opinion, this process would be based not on perceived value like in fantastical and anime transmutations, but in sheer mass. It might also use the comparative value of the thing you are transmuting. Perhaps even raw weight alongside the mass of the item. For example if you want to transmute something that is 20 kg you would need raw materials that total to 20 kg or their equivalent. They might also be able to energetically contribute to the process so that you could create vaster things from the original materials.
For example if you had a stack of papers and asked the Holo-Stones to turn it into a grape, I think it would work and the papers would disappear and the grape would reappear in their place.
I am not clear if there's waste in this process, as in, if you put more raw materials than the required ones, does the rest vanish or stay there?
I wonder if you can use air or water as a raw material...

Something worth trying.
