Hmm somehow collect outliers after youve valued all the characters and convert them to unique values within the range you like like compare all the highest valued you have. first get all the character values then create an set which is unique values. then find the highest value ones and see how far they are from the average. if they are really far then clamp them to unique values within the range you like. i still cannot get the audios made by your exe file to work for the image writer not sure about the unicode writer atm. hope it works id like to make some sanskrit affrmatons. Yes, I tried 1.5 standard deviations from the mean of all the text character values. It did take out the outliers, but it also reduced the amplitude when I used smoothing. That method could also potentially take out characters that aren't too far off from the mean, so I dropped it.
i didnt mean get rid of the characters. i meant clamp the amplitude difference so that they fall within l? of the average of the average. whatever works i have no idea. But we dont need to lose characters just clamp the amplitude difference

I didn't want to adjust the amplitude value on a per-character basis for outliers, because that would change the value of them and it might not be the accurate character anymore. Unless I apply a logrithmic shift to the whole text. Do you think that would work? It's exponential.

I feel like its more about our intentions being transmitted into the sound waves than anything else. weve trid so many different ways of giving letters values.

This is what the Sourcecode to my Intention Repeater Max v5.15 sounds like. I used the UTF-8 Unicode converter because there are symbols in the C++.

I updated the Unicode to WAV Converter, Image to WAV Converter, and WAV Repeater.
They were clipping audio when set to 100% volume, so I set max to 99%.

Should I do away with the regular Text to WAV Converter since Unicode (UTF-8) is a superset of regular ASCII?
They do the same thing, though Unicode can handle more bytes.
Or just keep them both since I already created them?
Users might not understand Unicode, so might be better to have both.
Though if they unintentionally have a UTF-8 document to convert, the Unicode one will work better.

Nevermind, I think it's good to have both Text to WAV and Unicode to WAV, because for a document with sanskrit for testing, they both produce different results. One may be more interesting to a user.

Ok, updated to v1.4 for both Text to WAV and Unicode to WAV Repeater. It now shows correct filesize estimate for using multiple channels.
