I sent a quite disappointed letter to Subtle Energy Sciences a week ago about how I found it very strange that they'd claim compression weakens energy, & that the web server hosting the files and customers' file systems probably use some sort of compression -- so if that were the case, the energy would be gone a long time ago. This was the reply:
I found their reply professional and mature.
What I think of the compression sentiment is another matter.
They possibly could mean, referring to audio, that lossy compression, like WAV to MP3, loses data. But lossless compression, like almost all compressed file formats such as ZIP and so forth, does not lose data. |

They realize it is lossless, but for some reason, they feel that lossless compression too weakens the energy -- even when decompressed. |

Can we create a dark theme for this forum? I realized all my seizures have been in front of the PC, so I have made some adjustments to the contrast and colors just in case. I think a dark theme would be really nice for this forum. Or if someone can recommend an extension to turn just this forum dark. Thanks.

The old android browser Naked Browser had a javascriptlet to force invert all colours in a page.
There are also extensions to achieve this.
You can also switch the theme to Falling Rains in Profile-->Edit Profile-->Settings. It is a warm theme.

I will be releasing the Batch script later of course (it works only on Windows, possibly on Ubuntu/Linux with wine). I have to use Windows with the WAV Converter; I do not like wine, it is better to dual boot, use separate laptops or VM/vps. The WAV Converter's code is unkempt and has windows-only code definitions spilling into the main code and making the compiler complain. I had to rip those out to get my copy to compile in Linux. I may be able to ship a fully static-linked version, but not sure. Edit: sound , here it is. It works for all Linux. If it has an issue, tell me. Edit 2: New version after realizing a char is way too small. Expanded to long long int. Weirdly, it is 4 kb less. Great! I didn't see this until now |

A cool thing about this tool is that I developed it such that, if any part of it fails, it simply won't produce any subliminal.
It cannot "skip" a vital part in the production. This means that if you get a subliminal file -- you can be sure it is properly made.
This has, at least, been my intention -- and I believe I have achieved it.
